For years, as boatbuilders, we have installed electric drives from third parties. Then in 2009 E-TECH decided to develop its own E-drive for yachts and boats. The ( many ) short comings of the systems, which were installed till then, forced us to develop a better solution. The best electric drives for an attractive price was and is the aim. As boatbuilders we are aware of the possible problems and aggressive circumstances which can occur on a (sea-going) boat, and we decided, first off all, that quality and durability prevail. E-TECH PODS, STEERABLE PODS, OUTBOARD PODS

In-water motor in a watertight aluminum casing. Equipped with an installation flange
for fixed mounting under the hull.

Brushless, perm.magnet electric engine (BLDC). The motor works underwater
The motor is fully maintenance free and has a heavy thrust bearing installed

A standard shaft f 25mm (4 POD, 7 POD) or f 30mm (10 POD, 15 POD), 1:10 conic, is fitted, that makes the use of a standard propeller very easy

E-TECH WG INBOARD ENGINES
Ultra modern electric engines to be mounted on the propeller shaft. Fit any engine bed, and any propeller shaft. With shaft endings on both ends of the engine to make an easy and quick in-line hybrid configuration.
