Stunning new Falcon electric tender features 90 or 150kW systems from Vita Power
The award-winning team behind some of the world’s most stunning high performance superyacht tenders has launched a new Falcon electric tender – the E8.
The design of the 8-metre open tender was conceived by ThirtyC Yacht Design, who also designed the all-electric Navier hydrofoiling boat. The electric propulsion for the Falcon E8 comes from the Vita Power division of Vita Yachts.
The Vita Power proprietary drive train, throttle and touchscreen technology packages are available in a 90kW continuous / 120kW peak system or with 150kW continuous / 220kW peak power output. In horsepower measurement that equates to peak outputs of approximately 170hp and 300hp. The boat is expected to reach a 20 knot cruising speed with a top speed of 30 knots.

The accompanying batteries are available with energy storage capacity of 63 kWh or 126 kWh. With a fast DC charge they can go from 20%-80% in just under one hour or in 4-5 hours with a slow charge system.

Falcon Tenders was founded in 2021 and is headed up by two legacy names in boatbuilding and racing: Mark Pascoe and Dean Stoneman.
Mark Pascoe has worked on some of the most famous high performance boats in history, including the world champion Cougar US1 46. He has also had personal success in Class-1 offshore racing with the official Lamborghini team, among others.
Company named for iconic Maltese Falcon
He applied his extensive knowledge and experience to the designing and building of RIBS and in 2005 oversaw the production of two custom tenders for the legendary 88m (289 ft) Maltese Falcon, one of the world’s largest and most complex sailing superyachts. Dean Stoneman is best known in motor racing for being the 2010 FIA F2 champion and testing with the famous Williams F1 team before more victories in FIA GP3, World Series 3.5, Porsche Carrera Cup and Indy Lights in the USA.
On the water, Dean was inspired by his father Colin – the 4-Litre Off-shore Powerboat World Champion in 1994 – to pursue and claim victory in the 2012 P1 Powerboat title in dominant style; winning all but one of the six rounds.
First Falcon electric tender
Heading up Falcon Tenders, they lead a team of experts that creates bespoke tenders for a range of clients and specializes in exquisite designs using hybrid diesel-electric propulsion to ‘deliver exhilarating performance with a fuel efficient edge’. The Falcon 8E is their first all-electric tender.
For the Falcon electric tender the firm enlisted the talents of design consultancy studio ThirtyC, formed in 2015 by Rob Armstrong and Alastair Fletcher.
Armstrong had worked at Pascoe International earlier in his career and Fletcher had been senior designer with superyacht superstars Terence Disdale Design and Ken Freivokh, designer of the Maltese Falcon.
Together the members of all teams put together the Falcon E8 to deliver the clean lines and elegant simplicity of a modern day classic.

The most immediately striking feature is the sportscar-inspired aft area with wide, low steps for easy boarding, lit from underneath at night. Reclaimed teak decking runs from the axe bow to the stern, with large interior storage located under the cockpit seating. A customizable console is paired with a fully bespoke exterior paint scheme and a signature interiors package.
“We wanted to create a no-frills stylish tender that doesn’t just look good or perform well, but will also complement any mothership” said Armstrong. “The Falcon E8 is an elegant boat for guest transfers but is equally suited to run alongside as a superyacht toy and facilitate fun on the water.”
