Venice e-Regatta 2022: Call for Entries
After the success of last year’s event, the 2nd edition of the Venice e-Regatta will be held June 1-3, 2022, returning to the Venice Arsenale as part of the Salone Venezia Boat Show. Last year there were a total of 23 electric boats entered and the committee is hoping to expand that for this year’s gathering.
The Assonautica di Venezia is once again organizing and overseeing the e-Regatta in collaboration with Vela, the public transport authority of Venice. Vela is also the presenting sponsor of the Salone Venezia.
Other returning partners include the Venice Motorboat Association, cultural tourism association Venti di Cultura, the Italian Motorboat Federation (FIM), events promotions expert Triumph and VeniceAgenda2028, which is driving the ongoing efforts to make the city’s canals electric boat only by 2028.
The three-day program is designed to show off all the attributes of electric boats. Many of the events are the same as last year, with revisions to others.

Awards will be given out for each competition as well as an overall/total points trophy.
