We can now offer you DIY electric outboard motor repower kits
We’ve been working on this one for a while as we needed to get to a point where the DIY was easy to install
We have now packaged up the pre-programmed electric powerhead, connecting plates, and battery connections, plus either a pre-programmed twist throttle or a forward control set – and a new top cowling to make it pretty!
The only skills you’ll need are:
Remove the old powerhead and clean the engine
Bolt the new powerhead unit in with provided fixtures
Attach the new controls (either new provided twist throttle or forward controls)
And plug it into a suitable battery – and you will be away!!
We now offer DIY (Do It Yourself) repower kits for the following:
Yamaha, Mercury, and Tohatsu – 2 stroke casings – 9.8hp to 90hp
Yamaha 15hp – 4 strokes
